I thought I’d revisit an old makeover that I just appreciate! 1 of my favorites essentially.
This coastal-style coffee table makeover…
…that was how it began.
Do you remember it?
I’m sharing it simply because I have made the decision to change it out for an ottoman. (scroll down to see it)
I am completely ready for a little transform-up.
Stained Espresso Table
But first, let’s have a minor refresh of this table.
I decided to eliminate the end from the best and refinish it so I would not paint about those quite inlays.
This was an previous bottle of Citristrip when it basically utilised to perform actually very well.
I really do not use it any longer. They changed the system and it just does not do the career the way it applied to.

In any case, off came that complete to reveal that attractive wooden underneath.
I believed I wished to stain it this color… (h2o-primarily based stain)
NOPE! I immediately wiped that again off.
Then I considered I’d whitewash it…
Nope! Ha! I didn’t like that possibly. Off came that as very well.
I enable it dry right away and decided to go with oil-based stain instead.
I used a pre-stain to start with, then Antique Walnut, wiping back effectively, then Typical Gray around that, also wiping back.
And WOW, it came out the best shade!
I painted the base white with a little bit of distressing.

I could not have been more happy! I just like this table.
Gosh, now I sense like I don’t want to modify it or allow it go!! lol
I may well have to keep it whilst I participate in around with this new piece for a though.

In other information, I had a specific customer right now! (Weds) Christy from Confessions of a Serial DIYer!! Woohoo!
