Butterfly Jewellery Box

I taped up the foam so it would not get painted, and then sprayed the full box with Zinsser Shellac primer. (forgot to get a photograph of that) I preferred to make positive it would not bleed so applied that.
Once that was dry, I gave it two coats of Satin White spray paint.
While that was drying I slash the fabric to match. I utilized my mat and cutter to lower the cloth.
Prior to I put it in however, I resolved to caulk to make wonderful, clean seams all over the edge.
Then I utilised Decoupage and Transfer Gel to connect it to the foam.
And…ta da!
Glimpse how attractive that cloth is.
I also sprayed the components in a “hammered” gold complete.
A minimal trick for tiny screws, just stick them into a paper plate like this to get the tops.

I sprayed it with that “triple thick glaze” spray sealer once again. It’s not definitely that thick, in my expertise, but does give a nice, glossy sheen that looks very protecting.
